Profile cutting by abrasive water-jet
Our Gasket Express service holds vast stocks of flange gaskets ready for immediate despatch.
In addition, we have CAD/CAM water-jet and abrasive water-jet cutters that hold all standard flange designs in memory. These machines are highly economical for prototype cutting, as well as large batch runs.
For maximum economy, our nesting pattern and video imaging software ensure the greatest number of profiles is cut from a sheet of any shape.
- We produce precision-cut gaskets to any shape, size or quantity from any sheet material - including our own extensive ranges of jointings that are stocked in readiness.
- Non-standard gaskets and complex profiles produced within minutes.
- Profiles cut cleanly, to ±0.1mm accuracy, without heat distortion.
- Cutting capability includes stainless steels - from foil thickness up to 100mm - as well as titanium sheet.
- Water-jet and abrasive water-jet cutters work from customers' own CAD files via email, samples or drawings.
